We begin a new contest. A Poetry Contest.
The initiator of this project is Ira Faustova, the student of the 7th grade who wrote a wonderful poem devoted to her favourite subject - English.

Everyone who likes English as Ira does is invited to participate. The winners of the 1st, 2nd, 3d prizes will be awarded. The best poems will be published in a school journal.
The deadline is 20 March, 2014.
Summer is over,
School has begun,
Summer was warm,
Autumn is rainy.
Holidays are over,
Lessons have begun,
Some lessons are boring,
But English is the happiest one.
Children can learn words,
Read fantasy books,
Write stories, And speak with friends.
Do you like English?

Let's learn English together!

Sport is fun for girls and boys.
It's much better than the toys.
You can sledge and ski, and skate
And play snowballs with friends.
You can swim and play football,
Hockey, tennis, basketball.
You can jump and you can run.
You can have a lot of fun.
